REGIONAL SKILLS CENTER ADDS EVENING WORKSHOPS

The Regional Skills Center will two evening workshops in October: basic equipment repair and workplace ventilation. Enrollment in its daytime program has doubled during the past year, leaving every daytime classroom at capacity. , the center has renovated an unused room to accommodate the new classes.
Residents who the introductory safety course may register. Each workshop meets twice a week for six weeks, and fees include shared tools and printed materials. Employers may reimburse participants after successful completion.
Applications received by 20 September will be reviewed first. The daytime program will continue on its usual schedule while the evening workshops are in session.
